A.V.V. High School was upgraded into A.V.V. Composite Junior College in 1969–70 and was admitted to the Grant-in-Aid system in 1977. Since its inception, the college has been committed to providing quality education and nurturing students for higher education and successful careers.
The college follows the curriculum prescribed by the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE). Teaching is conducted by experienced and dedicated faculty members, with a strong emphasis on conceptual understanding, academic discipline and holistic student development. Annual examinations are conducted by the Board on a year-wise basis.
During the current academic year the college has a total enrolment of 350 students across First and Second Year Intermediate courses, making class sizes manageable and individual attention possible.
