Andhra Vidyabhi Vardhani Sangham — established in 1944 by Acharya Shri Chanda Kanthaiah to promote education among the disadvantaged sections of the Warangal region.
About AVV Sangham
AVV Sangham is the managing society behind AVV High School, AVV Junior College and AVV Degree & PG College in Matwada, Warangal. Formed in 1944 during a period when Telugu-medium education was effectively denied to the people of Telangana, the Sangham was created with a clear social objective: make education accessible, affordable and rooted in the community's own language and culture.
Over eight decades the Sangham has grown its educational mission from a single school into a complete pathway from Class VI to postgraduate study, while remaining committed to social commitment and community development in the Warangal region.
